Hern Hill 1

Back garden to a nice terraced house behind Hern Hill station. The garden slopes up away from the house so we dug back into the slope to create a large patio with steps up to the lawn spanning the garden.
We built the curved raised bed from oak sleepers installed vertically in order to created the gentle curve.
The pergola/sun lounger at the back of the garden is positioned for maximum sun in the evenings. Under the seat is a hidden storage box for cushions.)
Along the right hand side is a water rill made from limestone setts with a resevoire and pump hidden under the lawn.
